The contemporary brooch has 24ct. Yellow gold cloisonné wires making up the form of a stylised beetle. A textured fine silver foil, has shades of green and chartreuse yellow enamel fired over the surface. Opaque black enamel makes up the design and outline of the beetles body.

The brooch has a textured 22ct. yellow gold bezel setting mounted onto a Stg. Silver back with a double pin and a pendant fitting.

The brooch bears the makers marks for Debbie Sheezel, G.S.G.A, metal and date stamp.
