The brooch named "Kirche in Cassone I" Homage to Klimt, 2002.
The brooch is mounted with sixteen modified brilliant princess cut natural sapphires, ranging in colour from a deep orange, yellow, green, blue to purple. The sapphires are bezel set into 18ct. Yellow gold.
A European scene of cypress trees and a church are modelled in 18ct. hand textured white gold with a satin finish yellow gold foreground.
Bearing makers mark for Dorothy Erickson, G.S.G.A, metal and date stamp.
