The brooch is bezel set in 22ct. Yellow gold with a solid Lightning Ridge natural black opal with a ‘peacock’ vibrant blue green play of colour.

A freeform domed ‘double boomerang’ shaped fine silver frame sit around the opal.

The brooch has a double pin fitting.

With makers marks for Monica Szwaja, G.S.G.A, metal and date stamp.
