Antique Georgian gilded quizzer. The finely gilded antique Georgian quizzer could have the magnifing glass replaced with your own perscription. Circa 1830. Measuring 32 x 22mm, total length 60mm. Quizzing glasses a single lense to peer through, held loose to the eye rather than the eye. Popular from the 18th century onwards for both men and women. Can be attached to a chain. The decoration can be aesethic but also assists in the grip. It was considered a must have for a Dandy.
