Contemporary 18ct. Yellow and white gold, sapphire set brooch
The brooch named “Kirche in Cassone I” Homage to Klimt, 2002.
The brooch is mounted with sixteen modified brilliant princess cut natural sapphires, ranging in colour from a deep orange, yellow, green, blue to purple. The sapphires are bezel set into 18ct. Yellow gold.
A European scene of cypress trees and a church are modelled in 18ct. hand textured white gold with a satin finish yellow gold foreground.
Bearing makers mark for Dorothy Erickson, G.S.G.A, metal and date stamp.
